A Storyteller Forged in the Texas Oilfields

Daniel Harry is the author of The Jesus Ring, Shadows, and Ramblings of an Old Poot. He lives in Port Lavaca, Texas, with his wife, Cathy. Daniel has authored many humorous short stories and is currently working on two new novels scheduled for release in late 2026.

Born in San Angelo, Texas, and raised in the oilfields of Odessa, Texas, Daniel has spent the last forty years managing his own companies and writing technical documents. His professional writing centered on oil and gas, chemical, power generation, and specialty gas plant construction, as well as industrial inspection and testing.

Daniel is a Navy veteran and a dedicated supporter of many military veteran programs. His personal interests include writing, fishing, prospecting, and inventing gadgets that, in his own words, will likely never sell.
